A frank and fast-moving piece of theatre created using academic research, and the views of local fathers, about their experiences of child protection services and the family court. The show tells four stories of men’s experiences and encounters with authority; what happens when they come up against different challenges, and what they discover about being a dad. It’s followed by an open discussion with its creators, to further explore the issues they present.
Our aim is to spark conversations about what it means to be a father, what challenges fathers can face and present and why fatherhood matters for all of us.
