“Few world-class jazz improvisers are comparably imaginative composers, but Tim Garland is that
rarity.” GUARDIAN
“Music that is absorbing, profound and rewarding.” ALYN SHIPTON, BBC
A rare, not-to-be-missed UK club appearance from saxophone superstar and lauded composer Tim
Garland. As well as a 17-year, Grammy-winning stint with piano legend Chick Corea, Tim has
collaborated with Geoffrey Keezer, Gwilym Simcock and Jason Rebello, co-led highly acclaimed
groups Lammas, Storms/Nocturnes, Acoustic Triangle and was a member of Bill Bruford’s
Earthworks. Tonight Tim blends bewitching original pieces with some of his favourite standards.
With Chris Ingham (piano), Malcolm Creese (bass), George Double (drums).
